I hope all of you were blessed by your first “tour” of The Truth Project.  I know I was.  Dr Tackett shared so much in the hour of study it was difficult to grasp all that he was communicating.  I hope you will not let this discourage you.  Remember this is a twelve week journey and our comprehension will improve as we travel farther in the weeks to come.  

What did you see on the tour that was particularly interesting or striking to you?     One of the key ideas that stood out to me is the fact that those who do not believe the truth are held captive by the lies of Satan.  The are prisoners in the Cosmic Battle of Truth vs. Lie.    We look at the insanity of our world and become very frustrated.  Anyway, I know I do.  I can’t believe people believe what the believe!  How can anyone believe God is not real.  Then there are those who believe in God, but they believe there are multitudes of ways to know God, many roads to salvation.    Why do they believe such stuff?   They are captives of the lie–they are deceived.   Let’s remember this truth as we are encouraged by the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 2:24, 26 and Colossians 4:5-6, when we have the opportunity to share our faith in Christ with others.    Remember they are prisoners.  Imagine them in P.O.W. uniforms

Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?    How do you know what you really believe?  It is seen in our attitudes and actions.  Dietrich Bonhoffer said, “To believe is to obey and to obey is to believe.”
